[2] In a year of heavy rains, anthrax broke out in Chari Baguirmi during Aug-Dec; 52% of 7453 donkeys affected and 39% died; 38% of 1185 horses affected and 21% died; of 716 humans affected, 88 died; 300,000 cattle vaccinated.
