Associate veterinarian(s) wanted for fast-paced, small animal practice in “Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia” just 50 miles from Pittsburgh. Wheeling offers a very low crime rate, two wonderful parks with professional golf courses, numerous schools of excellence, a symphony, Wheeling Island Racetrack and Casino, plus the beautiful Ohio River with several marinas and walking/biking trails. Our exclusively small animal hospital offers excellent technical support staff, in-house laboratory, veterinary pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitor, ultrasound, well-equipped surgery, bone plating, and 24-hour patient care. All levels of experience will be considered. Base salary for new graduates is $60,000-$65,000. We offer paid vacation, paid health insurance, paid license fees and professional dues, profit sharing, and a generous continuing education allowance. Our doctors rotate exam rooms, surgery, and weekends. Most emergencies are handled by the local after hours emergency clinic.
