Research Interests
Thalidomide has been used since 1964 to successfully treat a painful complication of leprosy know as erythema nodosum leprosum (ENL). Its mechanism of arresting ENL, as well as the cause of ENL, are not known. My main interest is to elucidate the cause(s) of ENL as well as mechanism of action of thalidomide in arresting ENL.
