M.S.  Louisiana State University

Marilyn Dietrich manages the Flow Cytometry Facility, which is a centralized facility serving the LSU community.  She provides technical expertise in addressing experimental issues related to cell analysis using flow cytometry.  This includes consultation in experimental design, assistance in devising reliable protocols for specific flow cytometry applications, data analysis, interpretation of results, and production of presentation graphics.  She teaches a course on flow cytometry based methods and applications which is part of Cellular and Molecular Immunology Laboratory.

Research Interests

The research projects she participates in are from multi discipline areas such as immunology, toxicology, and cell biology.  Major efforts are in the area of collaboration with investigators in the development of new applications of flow cytometry technology.
