The School of Veterinary Medicine/Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology has a centralized facility capable of handling a wide variety of your tissue culture needs. Some of these include:

PREPARATION OF REAGENTS

• Media

• Salt Solutions

• Serum

• Supplements

• Antibiotics

TISSUE CULTURE

• Propagation of adherent and non-adherent cell lines

• Establishment and maintenance of primary cultures, vertebrate and invertebrate

• Liquid nitrogen storage

• Enrichment of lymphocytes from blood and lymphocyte proliferation

MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES

• Production of  Hybridomas (immunizations, fusions, cloning, screening systems)

• Propagation of Myelomas and established Hybridomas in either low serum or serum free medium

• Antibody Isotyping
