Biographic Sketch

Susan Eddlestone,DVM, DACVIM is an Associate Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine . She earned her DVM from LSU in l989.

Programs:
Coordinator of the HSUS/LSU Spay/Neuter/Shelter Medicine/Animal and Community Wellness Program

Coordinator of the LSU-Animal Sterilization Assistance Program (LSU-ASAP) that is held once a month at LSU-SVM to provide low-cost spay/neuter to local cat organizations that TNR( feral cats) and low-income family pets.

Disaster Preparedness and Response: Coordinate the use of the AKC/LSU Mobile Veterinary Clinic during disasters.

Other interests: Solutions to the overpopulation of dogs and cats:
