| Biographic Sketch Jose Augusto Len is a native of the Republic of Panama. He obtained his veterinary degree at the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico in 1994. He then worked in equine reproduction at a thoroughbred breeding farm. In 1998 he became the Panamanian Racing Commission veterinary at the Hipodromo Presidente Remon race track in Panama City. From 1999-2005 he was the Chief Veterinarian and Manager of an internationally renowned and largest in Central America thoroughbred breeding farm in Panama. In 2005 he started a combined residency/masters of science program in theriogenology at the School of Veterinary Medicine, Louisiana State Universtiy.
