Voted “Best Veterinary Practice in Bowling Green, KY” eight years running! Our one doctor, mixed animal practice prides itself on a loyal, large support staff, great equipment and quality medicine. As a mixed animal practice, we were voted runner-up the past two years for “Best Small Animal Practice”… a compliment we owe to our clients and team.

We are looking for a mixed animal associate eager to learn and grow while handling a caseload that is approximately 80% small animal and 20% large – mainly horse and beef cattle. A new associate will be supported by roughly 16 support staff, giving us a doctor:support staff ratio of 1:8. In addition to team members that have been with us for 10 plus years, our doctors have the opportunity to enjoy:
• Large Animal Facility – Complete with over 10 Equine Stalls, Surgery Room with table and anesthesia, Treatment Room, Haul-in Facility (complete with chutes), ultrasound and an indoor training arena.
• Small Animal Facility – Features Laser Surgery, Treatment Laser, Digital X-ray – 3rd level; Complete In-House Lab and Ultrasound.

The clinic’s current doc, and owner, will gross nearly One Million in 2008 and is looking for an associate to help him grow the practice. Through the use of Cornerstone Software, we’re able to track our ACT, Invoices Out, Gross, Net, etc. Our Average Client Transaction (ACT) is slightly below average which demonstrates room for growth. Our current doc supports such a large client base that he is unable to provide the client education that we desire. We pride ourselves on client communication and with a new associate who is passionate about both small and large animals; we believe we can increase our level of service through better client education.

In addition to the desire to practice progressive, mixed animal medicine, we are looking for an associate who:
• Enjoys client communication
• Possesses a great work ethic
• Confident in his/her abilities (We are very happy to mentor a new associate!)

We are willing to reward the right associate with:
• Competitive Starting Salary
• Health Benefits
• Simple Retirement
• CE
• Licensing and Dues

Where else can you go spelunking, witness an American icon in the works, and go for a twisted ride in the air all in one weekend? Nowhere, other than Bowling Green, KY. Legendary cars, wooden roller coasters and underground boat tours drive Bowling Green's ability to entertain. In addition to the unique activities above, Bowling Green, a city of 53,000 citizens, offers great schools, health care, shopping, dining and public transportation.

The outdoor enthusiast will find ample opportunities for hunting, fishing, hiking and riding. Our lush climate and agricultural roots make this area great for practicing mixed animal medicine!
