The US economy may be struggling, however as one of the biggest large animal clinics in Southwestern, Ontario we are continuing to grow immensely: We are adding a dairy specific position that will have the opportunity to serve herd sizes ranging from 40 to 800 head. A percentage of our clients are Mennonite - which operate very clean and well-managed dairies. All of our clients will take your consult with open arms; they listen to you and follow through with your expert advice. We have a great relationship with our community, our practice is family oriented and a sense of humor goes a long ways here.

Currently on staff are:
o 3 Equine DVMs
o 4 Bovine DVMs
o 1 Swine DVM
o 13 Support staff, including four registered technicians

Technical skills can be taught, as long as you have a great attitude, you communicate well with clients and you’re confident, we would love to talk with you about the new position. Experienced or new graduates with a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
Our expectations :
• Palpate cows to 42 days
• Perform C-Sections
• Torsion Correction
• Attitude is paramount
• Diagnostically capable
• Ability to conduct a thorough exam

Salary is commensurate with experience but starts for a new graduate at $60,000. Our benefit’s package is hard to beat and include: Paid dues, One week of CE anywhere in North America, Provision for a truck with a full unit or portavet, partnership availability and a working environment you just simply cannot beat.

The location of our practice is just as important as the practice itself and Linwood, Ontario is a small, historic, yet prosperous town with great schools, services, and recreation. The country scenery and rolling hills, along with its small town feel, have gradually transformed the township into a growing commuter town with a population mostly living in suburban developments, and traveling into the nearby cities of Kitchener and Waterloo for work. The area has pristine Sugar Maple woods surrounding it and quiet rivers making their way through the city, which is home to an array of wildlife.
