Companion Animal Medicine

Companion Animal Medicine

The Companion Animal Medicine service of the VTH&C is staffed by 5 faculty members who are diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and 4 residents with extensive training in small animal internal medicine. Each faculty clinician practices general internal medicine but also has expertise in a sub-specialty area such as gastroenterology, urology, endocrinology, critical care, and infectious disease.

Specialty services offered include ultrasonography, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, electrodiagnostics, CT scan, nuclear medicine, and radioactive iodide therapy.
